I have always heard that fall is the best time to visit Italy. Having never been (in spite of being obsessed with Italy and being fluent in Italian) this time of year my daydreams tend to shift towards that recurring fantasy vacation on the Italian Riviera. Glamorized by the impossibly chic likes of Audrey Hepburn and La Dolce Vita, and home of Il Duomo, Il Colosseo, Versace, Missoni, espresso and pizza--can you blame a girl for dreaming of such a magnificent land? Though I'm not able to jet off to Europe just yet, I live out my fantasies by bringing elements of timeless Italian style into my home in the form of Roman-style busts and urns, Florentine tole and every piece of my beloved Missoni Home I can find on super sale! Whenever you're longing for the radiant waters of Il Grotto Azzuro or the beautifully crumbling streets of La Città Eterna, here's how you can bring a bit of Lo Stivale into your home.
