Inspiration can strike anywhere. Even at my local Shake Shack, where in line to order an unspeakable amount of junk food, I met the stunningly cool Janice of Urban Glamazon. My eyes became almost immovably fixed on her studded Lady Dior Cannage Tote, which is sold out every where (believe me, I looked; but I did manage to find it in patent leather here). And though I was practically drooling with bag-lust, thankfully that didn't scare her into declining photos of her inspirational take on sportswear (perhaps she chalked up the drooling to the food?).
Glorious bag aside, The Urban Glamazon shows how it's done. Who says sneakers need be frumpy? Janice is the picture of comfort in animal print leggings and a cozy gray tank. But she mixes in a fierce cut-out leather moto, a go-with-everything cocktail ring, and an enviable it-bag, making an otherwise ho-hum outfit worthy of her blog's name. Though I rarely wear sneakers (I prefer to wear them exclusively for exercising which roughly equals to never; but considering the damage I did at Shake Shack...) I'm impressed to see that even without the extra five inches, with the right style, you can tower well above the crowd.
